My SIL and I have been trying to get a family vacation together for several months. We decided on Tahoe as a perfect location and rented an adorable and cozy cabin in Incline Village. We loaded up Luke and the dogs and took off for 4 days, which was perfect timing given our contractor needing to finish the subfloors over the weekend - loud and dirty work. Luke ended up getting sick the morning we were driving up which made for some long nights and a crankier than normal toddler, but we made the most of it and ended up having a really great time. The weather was beautiful and although we didn't get out as much as we would have liked, we made it a point each day to do some small hikes and get out of the cabin.
Thankfully, my pregnancy brain did not forsake me and I remembered my Nikon so as to get some gorgeous shots of our mini-vacay.

Hopefully we'll be able to cram in a few more weekend retreats before baby girl gets here.
