Getting hangry has been a weakness of mine throughout my pregnancy. I am hungry, but nothing sounds good, or I get immersed in work, Downton Abbey or chores and forget to eat for a few hours and I get snappy. I would get hangry even before getting pregnant, but now it's like hanger on steroids. Stay out of my path when I've gone a few hours without food, or better yet, carry snacks. :)
I felt the baby move for the first time last week. I was guzzling a glass of pineapple juice and then all of a sudden I felt little popcorn bursts to my left side. I have felt baby almost every day since and it's the best feeling in the world. We find out the sex next Tuesday and then it's let the planning and baby preparations begin... eeeek!
In other family news, this baby came in the mail yesterday, Luke's very own potty. I have been going back and forth on when to start potty training Luke, and then one of my girlfriends brought up a good point that once the baby gets here, transitioning to anything outside of Luke's normal routine will be out of the question, especially for the first few months - it's either get on the potty train bus now, or wait until the fall once things calm down. I am not holding my breath that we'll be diaper free before baby gets here, but it's worth a try. Wish me luck.
I will leave you all with these cute pics of Luke snuggling with his Elmo doll. Girl or boy, Luke is going to be one amazing big brother.
